Job Description:

  1. Should be passionate about making and presenting desserts and have a desire to learn new recipes.
  2. Thorough knowledge about art and science of baking.
  3. Being creative with new recipe ideas.
  4. Good knowledge about using baking equipment’s and procedures.
  5. Prepare desserts and baked goods in waffle category.
  6. Keep up-to-date with new recipes, ensure the quality of baked goods, assist in the development of menus, and prepare baked goods using a wide range of styles.
  7. Maintain inventory of food items, rotate stock, manage the safe storage of refrigerated and non-refrigerated items, and order ingredients as needed.
  8. Good communication skills
  9. Maintain necessary records in the kitchen as per instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identification of areas for product development through market research & market feedback
  • Develop consumer insights and clear understanding of eating out need states and occasions
  • Launch new products after following rigorous testing and research
  • Assist in building a strong innovation food product pipeline
  • Develop intimate knowledge of consumer behavior and trends through primary research
  • Assist in trials of new products in lab, pilot and commercial scale
  • Assist in coordinating with Brand and Sales team to close New Product Launch Plans- production plans and demand plans for next three months. Plans to be then broken down with the help of SCM planning and Plant team to achieve set targets for primary plan – production, FG audit, dispatch, and connection to depots
  • Conduct Sensory Evaluations internally and externally
  • Raw Material and Packaging Vendor Coordination and Sourcing

Skills Required:

  • Strong logical and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding and experience of generating insights, understanding consumer behavior and brand positioning and creative execution
  • Strong understanding of research techniques
  • Have a proper knowledge of ingredients and ways to use them in Product Development

Stake holders:

  • Internal: QA, SCM, Operations, Training, Finance, Consumer Insights
  • External: Packaging vendors, Ingredient vendors, Strategic vendors.

Qualification, Experience & CTC:

  • Education: Food Technologist / Diploma in food science
  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience with QSR & Food Industry
  • CTC: 4 to 6 Lacs (yearly)

Responsibilities

  • Working on a new menu/category/product/variant launch from product conception to market readiness for both the Restaurant Chain business and Packaged Food business
  • Managing a team of chefs and Food Technologists to create prototypes and test them internally
  • Identify key vendors for sourcing + manufacturing, negotiate the commercials & work with them on the final product
  • Set product development timeline & meet the delivery time
  • Decide on product specifications including recipes, packaging, nutrition, shelf life etc.
  • Manage the entire PNL responsibility for the new product vertical, including product costing and margin analysis
  • Work closely with market research team to study, identify and target potential white spaces, international trends, new product ideas and developments in the FMCG dessert market.
  • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, operations and production teams to ensure rollouts, product quality and production SOPs are being met
  • Problem solving – that may arise with respect to product quality

Experience, Education and Other Details

  • Experience Required – 8-10 years in Retail, food manufacturing, FMCG etc. industries with good knowledge of food technology and processing, ingredients etc.
  • Education – MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Marketing/Food technology
  • Reporting to CEO and Founder for Belgian Waffles
  • Heading a business category or business vertical
  • Experience as a co-founder or entrepreneur of a food business will be preferred
  • International Experience or Education preferred
  • Experience of modern sweet/dessert products will be preferred
  • Must be from a reputable or high ranked institution and above 75% grades in 10th and 12th and college
  • Be good with MS Office
  • CTC upto 40 Lacs

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the implementation of individual business plans for different countries.
  • Identify business development opportunities, support sales and delivery teams to expand business outside India and drive such opportunities from concept to implementation and execution of such plans and tracking outcomes.
  • Administer and develop initiatives to increase sales and market development activities.
  • Analyze business strategies and develop improvement plans for same to provide appropriate growth to business.
  • Manage all development process and ensure compliance to government policies and regulations of the different countries.
  • Identify opportunities for promotions, additional services, and distribution avenues that will lead to an increase in international sales and work with the Sales team.
  • Monitor effective implementation of international business development activities.
  • Assist businesses to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to enhance same.
  • Design plans to achieve all objectives and develop plans for new business.
  • Train and provide guidance to team members and business development issues.
  • Coordinate with management team and maintain budgets
  • Analyze business and review future prospective for same.
  • Manage all customer communication and maintain effective relationship with all.
  • Prepare and implement various capture methods for business development.

  • Evaluate market trends and provide appropriate support to product development.

Requirements:

  • Experience of around 7 to 10 years is mandatory in implementation of F&B Business. Outside India experience will be preferable.
  • Should have experience in handling all the related compliances and duties.
  • IT fluency with skills including GSuite, Microsoft office suite, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal, confident and effective public speaking abilities.
  • Pro-active, strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Flexible and willing to take on any tasks to support team efforts.
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability with the ability to be a self-starter and make independent decisions.

Job Description/Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all expense bills are received and properly booked in Tally along with narrations
  • Following up for bills of those whose invoices are not received
  • Doing rate check Audit for all purchases
  • Vendor payments to be done as per due date and payment entries are booked timely
  • Purchase recon with POSIST
  • Quarterly Vendor reconciliation of all critical vendors
  • Review of all advances and liabilities – explanation of all old, unusual and large items.
  • Monitoring accounting of all petty cash expenses – Completeness and as per policy
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Daily sales reconciliation
  • Reconciliation of DSR and Tally balances
  • Monitoring sales and receipt Accounting
  • Ensuring all sales-related expenses are valid and booked
  • Monitoring Party wise debtors and ensuring timely recovery of money
  • Coordinate with a Tax consultant for GST and TDS working
  • Reporting – MIS, Balance sheet and any other Adhoc report as needed
  • Complete Income reconciliation of all heads to ensure no revenue leakages
  • Monthly book closing and preparation of financial statement at entity level.
  • Preparation of monthly geography wise profit and loss statement and variance analysis against
  • Variance analysis for operational cost components
  • Preparation of monthly stock statement
  • Preparing analysis for monthly accrual v.s actual income booking
  • Implementation of credit policy
  • Analysis of overdue debtors for monthly credit review and tracking Business Heads commitments for recovery.

Job Description

  • Generating new packaging of the existing products and new products in the pipeline
  • Ensuring that packaging products meet set requirements and specifications
  • Producing samples to try out different materials and designs
  • Liaising with Marketing, SCM, Operations and Production staff
  • Maintain and support the NPD activities on packaging to support the strategic requirements of the business and our internal Innovation process, along with regulatory requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing strategies for new innovative packaging and creating cost-effective product packaging design, processes and aligning resources to satisfy product package execution requirements
  • Manage development concept from idea generation to approval of concept, ensuring key feasibility and technical evaluations are conducted
  • Running trials to check packaging for suitability and testing for performance under various conditions
  • Controlling production and quality standards, including reporting packaging that doesn’t meet these
  • Evaluating, selecting and negotiating with suppliers
  • Identifying and choosing products from suppliers
  • Implementing and maintaining Supplier Approval, Supplier evaluation & Monitoring system towards continuous improvement
  • Keeping up to date with technological innovations, packaging innovations, trends and opportunities
  • Must have hands-on experience in handling various tasks in Packaging development
  • Ensure that all regulations and compliances are met in label declarations wrt FSSAI, etc.

Knowledge, Experience and Other Details:

  • Examples of having delivered long term packaging innovation or having played a key role in building a packaging innovation pipeline
  • Any graduate degree or qualification, preferably in Packaging Technology / Engineering or equivalent and at least 4-6 years’ experience in the Packaging industry and/or QSR/F&B Industry.
  • Should have skills & technical know-how on Flexible & Rigid packaging, Smart packaging, Vacuum and other packing options for food category.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience of managing innovation projects.
  • Competent knowledge of the packaging industry and NPD procedures and processes.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
  • The ability to organize and motivate people to gain co-operation in the planning and conduct of the development process.

Job Description

  • Managing in store merchandising, stock refilling, replenishments etc
  • Coverage of all the stores that are about to start from 15th of this month
  • Handling & managing tertiary sales or off takes from the respective stores
  • To keep track of secondary & tertiary sales on daily basis
  • Manage team of in store promoter’s in the later stage when they are hired
  • PO raising from the respective stores on weekly or tdp basis.
  • Following FIFO process for our stocks in stores so as to avoid expiry/low shelf stocks for the later months.
  • Approx per month salary should be somewhere around 20-30k (Approx 3 lacs ctc pa) + quarterly incentives + ta/da on a daily basis.
